Kimono
While Japanese women wear the same types of
clothes that Westerners do (for example,
jeans and blouses), they also enjoy wearing
more traditional clothing, such as a kimono,
on special occasions. The kimono is usually
made of silk, and is tied with a belt called
an obi. Some kimonos take more than six
months to make by hand. A kimono like that
would cost you more than $5000 to buy.
